Some time ago, a dream deeply unsettled me. I was in an upscale clothing boutique, one of those places where every detail quietly signals who belongs and who is merely passing through.

After watching me for a while, a manager pulled a low-priced purple outfit from a box and pressed me to consider it. From my appearance alone, she had already decided what I could afford and what world I belonged in.

I then showed her, on my phone, the master's program I had just entered at a respected institution. Her expression changed immediately, then her tone, then her entire demeanor.

The value of a human being seemed to change the moment a prestigious system accepted their worth.

The Author

I write at the intersection of biblical thought, psychology, sociology, and systems thinking.

My journey between Africa and Europe has led me to work at the crossroads of governance, strategic partnerships, and decision-making in international contexts.

I did not write this book as an outside observer. The dream of the boutique came to me while I was writing it, and what access reveals is something I had to confront in myself before I could put it into words.
